SUMMARY
This paper studies the relations between the European Union and the countries of Eurasia. The economic situation of the Russian Federation, Belarus and Kazakhstan from 1992 to 2016 is analyzed. Reference is also made to the Eurasian Economic Union and the countries from which the Union was formed. The study also focuses on the economic and trade relations between the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, their common past and their common course. In addition, the Treaty on the Establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union, the institutions on which the Treaty is based, the Common Economic Space, the Customs Union, including the important agreements between the EU and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, are studied. Finally, an attempt is made to predict whether the conclusion of the agreement appears likely, as well as to analyze the prospects for cooperation between the EU and the Eurasian Economic Union.
