Hellenic Institute for Strategic Studies (EL.I.S.M.E.)

General information

EL.I.S.M.E. relies primarily on the subscriptions of its members, who at the same time undertake this work on a non-profit basis. This fact ensures independence as well as free and reliable expression of speech, without the restrictions and commitments imposed by financial dependencies.

The Institute's goal is to meet face-to-face with representatives of potential communication sponsors, major sponsors and donors, as well as to provide them with direct, detailed information, in order to develop relationships of cordiality and trust.

The Institute urges every aware business, company and institution to become a communication sponsor, major sponsor or sponsor, guaranteeing that the sponsorship will be utilized in the best possible way for the benefit of the national purposes served.

Every potential sponsor of EL.I.S.M.E., in addition to the tangible reciprocal benefit described in the following paragraphs, has the opportunity to project itself into the social consciousness for its sensitivity and concern for the analysis and treatment of the country's national issues, the international developments that directly or indirectly affect our country, the effects on our fellow citizens of internal economic, military, migration, demographic, technological, commercial, educational, and energy changes within the country.

Prospective sponsors submit proposals expressing interest in sponsoring collaboration with the Institute. These proposals are discussed by the Institute's Board of Directors for the relevant decision, which is communicated to the prospective sponsor for further actions.

 Types of Sponsorships

The Institute's sponsors are characterized as major sponsors, sponsors and communication sponsors.

The major sponsor contributes to EL.I.S.M.E. at least €6.000 annually.

The sponsor contributes to EL.I.S.M.E. at least €1.000 annually.

The communication sponsor (television channel and/or radio station) covers and promotes the Institute's annual activities and events (interviews, discussions, workshops, conferences, etc.).

Benefits of the Institute to its sponsors

The communication sponsor gains the following:

1. Exclusivity in covering the Institute's activities, following a joint agreement with EL.I.S.M.E. (except in cases where the communication sponsor is unable to cover a specific event).

2. Promoting it as a body with national and social sensitivity, contributing to informing public opinion on critical issues of national, European and international scope, in the light of our national interests.

The major sponsor, during the year of his sponsorship, enjoys the following:

1. Use of the image system and identity of EL.I.S.M.E. for promotion and advertising.

2. Reporting on every activity of EL.I.S.M.E. before an audience (with or without coverage by the communication sponsor).

3. Reporting during the respective General Assemblies of the members of the Institute.

4. Provision of time to present the project and its products during conferences organized by EL.I.S.M.E. (as long as there is a connection between the major sponsor's company and the conference's topics),

5. Advertising in the appropriate manner (stand, advertising material, etc.) during EL.I.S.M.E. events (as long as there is a relevance between his company and the nature of the event)

6. Honorary seat at the President of the Institute's table during any meals that follow EL.I.S.M.E. conference events.

7. Display of the sponsorship throughout the year, on the home page of the EL.I.S.M.E. website.

8. Indirect advertising in the Institute's magazine "PROBLIMATISMOI" (twice a year), with an appropriate article on its activity, work and products (a prerequisite for this provision is the relevance of the major sponsor's company to the Institute's objects).

9. Display of its Logo in a prominent place during press conferences by representatives of the Institute.

10. Registration of its logo at the bottom of the page of the Institute's written communication with its members.

11. Posting of its Logo in the Board of Directors' meeting room.

The sponsor, during the year of his sponsorship, enjoys the following benefits:

1. Report during an Institute event for the organization of which the sponsorship amount was allocated.

2. Reporting during the General Assemblies of the members of the Institute.

3. Display on the Institute's website throughout the year of sponsorship.

4. Indirect advertising by writing a suitable article in the Institute's magazine, PROBLEMATISMOI, once per year of sponsorship (a prerequisite is the relevance of the sponsor's company to the objects of the Institute).

5. Posting of its Logo, throughout the sponsorship year, in a prominent location in the Institute's offices.
