From the First Aid Seminar at the Emergency Department (21/10/25)
Members of ELISME attended a free educational seminar on first aid at the EKAV center, which was organized by the ELISME Public Relations Department.
The seminar, after the completion of which a certificate of participation is issued, included theoretical lectures and practical training using models in the following educational subjects:
- Air duct
- Lung and Heart Function Support - CPR
- Automated External Defibrillator
- · Injuries Treatment
- Providing First Aid in emergency pathological cases
The seminar was interesting and useful, professionally and extremely organized. The rescuers/trainers made a concerted effort, with patience and kindness, to impart basic knowledge to us. They made us aware of how to be helpful to ourselves and our fellow human beings so that, as much as possible, we can contribute in a difficult situation to saving the most precious commodity, life.
