ELASTIC, RED LINE!!
The White House statement was clear and referred to the burning issue of Syria. 100-150 people have lost their lives from the use of chemicals. Washington, the statement said, has reliable data from multiple sources of information on the use - among others - of the deadly Sarin gas. Moreover, both France and England had reported that they have data on the use of chemicals by Assad. In fact, Obama has repeatedly stated that the use of chemical weapons would constitute the "Red Line" and could cause American intervention in Syria. Direct and not at all veiled, of course. So this fact is very important and the Assad regime exceeded the "Red Line" of the Americans, with all that this entails. Is this how things are or are there other interpretations that are not obvious from the first reading? Let's take things in order.
