CHRONOCRACY, GRAVARITISM, THUCYDIDOCRATY

The myth of Kronos who ate his children is well known. Also, the story about the Gravarites who mutilated their children to beg and support them (Karkavitsas). Finally, Thucydides' famous theory that the relations of people and nations are based on self-interest.

If someone analyzes and evaluates the above synthetically, they will find that, unfortunately, despite the supposed evolution and progress of civilization and democracy, these continue to apply in many places internationally. How else can we explain so many wars, genocides, hunger, poverty, insecurity, refugees, social exclusion, unworthiness, and misery?

The explanation is simple: The first "leaders" of the caves, etc., where "LUPUS LUPI HOMO EST" was in effect, making the most of the biological instinct of self-preservation, due to fear and the natural environment, but also individualistic cunning, took care to oppress those around them by imposing the worship of imaginary aliens etc. "gods", the sun, the moon, stars, lightning, and even wild beasts. Much later, with any knowledge and progress, they worshipped human beings, with supposedly supernatural powers, "prophets" etc. replacing the previous ones, but again for reasons of instincts and interests we have reached today's "civilized" world where the vicious circle of competition, division and exploitation triumphs within the framework of the famous and immortal ancient Greek saying "Power corrupts"! How many religious and para-religious groups, sects, etc. survive divisively? And most seriously, religious leaderships have imposed secular power which destroys the essence of genuine religious faith. The same has happened with political systems, partisanship, the lust for power and speculation which, through unfair competition, divide and oppress the people. And the tragic result, as we mentioned above: Wars, hunger, insecurity, poverty, refugees, social exclusion, unworthiness, misery.

In order not to look back to the very past, and to save time, let us consider how many HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF HUMAN VICTIMS the two World Wars caused. The tragedy of tragedies! Fortunately, some idealists and realists, because chaos would have followed, founded the League which, however, due to the power-hungry and profit-hungry of some misanthropic warmongering circles, left the backdoors of Totalitarianism open, and it failed. Isn't it very strange that the USA never became a member of the League? However, an important milestone in the League was the proposal of the US and French Foreign Ministers to abolish war in general, which, however, was rejected because in the meantime the companies producing and trading weapons systems had become a state within a state!..

Then some idealistic leaders, first the late F.D. Roosevelt with the famous 4 Freedoms, founded the UN on the ashes of approximately 80 MILLION PEOPLE, which in its 81 years of operation and with its Special etc. Organizations offered, in proportion, valuable work especially in the economic and social sectors, but also in the political when the Great Powers, the 5 Permanent Members of the Security Council, agreed. Unfortunately, the infamous VETO is the Achilles Heel of the Organization with the well-known tragic results.

Its Peacekeeping Forces, which have been repeatedly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, have prevented many dangerous military conflicts! However, when the interests of the Powerful are at risk, then the well-known tragedies occur. And, unfortunately, instead of strengthening the UN and its Organizations institutionally and financially, we have reached the tragic point, when some powerful "democratic" leaders are trying to weaken and undermine it with the well-known results. Russia-Ukraine War, USA and Israel War against Iran, 51 years of "crippling" of UN resolutions with the illegal Turkish military occupation of part of the Republic of Cyprus and with the unacceptable tolerance of Powerful "allies", civil conflicts in various states, hunger, poverty, refugees, etc. And all this in the 21st century! However, if they had utilized the capabilities of the UN and its Organizations, the above would have disappeared.

They could, within the framework of the UN, establish rules of cooperation between countries so that raw materials, rare earths, etc. are not monopolized and unfair competition is not caused with negative consequences up to and including war conflicts, but are utilized beneficially for all states. And in the economies of states, it should apply that the wealth of each country is distributed to the people by each according to their abilities, to each according to their needs and work!

And tragic irony, some states for which the UN fought for their recognition and to become its members, are ungrateful. They ignore it and discredit it! Moreover, Powerful states, which would have succumbed to the Nazi scourge, if some others had not sacrificed MILLIONS (Russia) and others HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS (first Greece!) PEOPLE, also undermine it!…

Therefore, in conclusion, although, as previously stated, it is assumed that civilization and democracy have been established, with all the dramatic and tragic things that have been happening especially in recent years by "democratic" leaders honoring corrupt crypto-phile-Nazi leaders and former arch-terrorists, who kill and cripple Christians, etc. not only physically, but mentally, economically, culturally, and also, especially with regard to the UN, who are trying to cripple and dismantle it, not only remind us of the headline, but also confirm it! RESISTANCE is needed from democratically thinking peoples so that we do not end up with a new Sodom and Gomorrah and a new cataclysm, where, however, there will be no Ark of salvation. And we repeat: If Planet Earth is ultimately destroyed, it will not be the ozone hole that is to blame, but the "hole" in human consciousness, especially that of the Powerful!
