This thesis presents “Naval Power” in order to demonstrate its uniqueness and the diversity of its impact in relation to other EOs. The ultimate goal is to highlight the possibility of its use by a state, whether it is “strong” or not, in order to diplomatically strengthen its positions. To assist, three characteristic examples are presented in which the components, the advantages it offers and the consequences of its application or not are demonstrated.
The article presents the "Sea Power" in order to illustrate the particularity it presents as well as the difference of its influence with respect to the other types of armed forces. The ultimate goal is to show whether a state is able to use this type of power, regardless of whether it is "strong" or not, in order to diplomatically strengthen its positions. The second part presents three typical examples that illustrate the ingredients, the benefits it offers, and the consequences of applying it or not.
