2016-01-15. CANADIAN MAYOR'S ANSWER TO A REQUEST FROM MUSLIMS January 8, 2016
Let's hear what the Mayor of Quebec has to say about the Muslim parents who demanded the elimination of pork from all school cafeterias in a suburb of Montreal.
The Mayor refuses to REMOVE pork from the school cafeteria MENU and explains why:
The Mayor of Montreal's Dorval suburb has rejected the Muslims' request, and the city clerk sent a memo to all parents explaining why.
“Muslims must understand that you must adapt to Canada and Quebec, its customs, traditions and way of life, because this is where you chose to immigrate.
Muslims need to understand that they need to integrate and learn to live in Quebec. They need to understand that it is up to them to change their way of life, not the Canadians who have so generously welcomed them.
Muslims, you must understand that Canadians are neither racist nor xenophobic. Canada has accepted many immigrants before you Muslims, (while this is not the case with you, since Muslim countries do not accept non-Muslim immigrants).
Just like other nations, Canadians are not willing to give up their identity or their culture.
And, if Canada is a welcoming country, it is not the Mayor of Dorval who welcomes foreigners, but the people of Canada and Quebec as a whole.
Finally, you should understand that in Canada (Quebec) with its Judeo-Christian roots, Christmas trees, churches and religious holidays, religion must remain in the same domain.
The municipality of Dorval had the right to refuse any concessions to Islam and Sharia.
For Muslims who disagree with secularism and don't feel comfortable in Canada, there are 57 beautiful Muslim countries in the world, most of them sparsely populated and ready to welcome them with open arms, with guns, according to the inhumane way of Sharia.
If you left your country for Canada, and not for other Muslim countries, it is because you thought life was better in Canada. We will not let you drag Canada down to the level of those 57 countries.
Ask yourself this question, just once: Why is it better here in Canada, wherever you may be from? “a canteen with pork on the menu,” is part of the answer.
"If you came to Canada with the idea that you would displace us with your riches and eventually take over the country, you should pack your bags and go back now to the country you came from. We have no room here for you and your ideology."
