Dimitris K. Bakas: IMPROVEMENT AS A VIRTUE

The broader social climate in the current reality is overflowing with disappointment and pessimism. The reasons are “known” to all of us! Or rather, we believe so. Perhaps we have not diagnosed the true reality and are in a state of self-deception. We are chasing to solve our financial problem and ensure our well-being, but we have moved away from our well-being.
We lost our humanity and were transformed into tools of production and consumption, like the products of technological and commercial development.
Man, as a person, from the highest purpose of our lives was relegated to a means to achieve vague development, which is interpreted as the production of wealth.
As a result, instead of bliss and happiness, a temporary enjoyment of life emerges for a small part of humanity, while the majority is disappointed and pessimistic.
