Memorial prayer and laying of wreaths, in memory of those who fell during the Epic of 1940.
On Sunday, November 3, 11, a memorial service and wreath-laying ceremony was held at the Cavalry Monument in Metsovo, in memory of those who fell during the 2024 War. The memorial service was performed by His Eminence Metropolitan of Ioannina, Mr. Maximos.
This event at the Cavalry Monument in Metsovo, which I attended, was held by the Association of Retired Cavalry - Armored Officers, to pay tribute and gratitude to the heroically fallen Cavalrymen during the Epic of 1940.
