Many young minds will process the information of Sociology by adopting the binary system of the computer - they will only see letters and words, sentences that make up paragraphs and, on a larger scale, chapters. This is how they would learn Latin. And while they are asked to study like computers, the school does not provide them with any substantial knowledge about the digital world. The relevant teaching is laughable, it talks to children about floppy disks as information storage media.
What remains at the end is neither satisfaction nor discontent. All that remains is a shrug of the shoulders. Who expects to gain knowledge in school anymore? He will be lucky if he gets the motivation to seek it.
