Inside the packed amphitheater, more than 250 people from all walks of life of our active citizens:
Students of the productive Academies of the Hellenic Air Force and Hellenic Armed Forces, Undergraduate and Postgraduate students and Executives of the Air Force and Air Force (active and retired). The conspicuous absence of Students of the Icarus School, the Air Force Permanent Non-Commissioned Officers School and Executives of the Air Force Research and Training Centers - although they were scheduled to come with free accommodation - caused a particular sensation. Presidents and CEOs of Companies, Honorary Heads of all Branches of the ED and SA, University Professors and Deans, PhDs, Researchers/Analysts Engineers and Active Citizens, was an exceptional success and kept the audience's interest undiminished for a two-day period, from 09:00 on Thursday (3/5) until 18:00 on Friday (4/5).
A significant Operational 'Round' Table Panel was set up, discussed and answered pre-determined - well-selected - questions on the importance and significance of technology and research in the country's defense and security as well as its contribution to the economy. The coordination was done by the general coordinator of the Conference, Anastasios Basaras.
A second important Technological 'Round' Table Panel was held, discussed and answered predetermined - well-selected- questions. on the importance and significance of technology, research, education and Logistics in the development of the domestic defense industry as well as its contribution to supporting and strengthening the defense and security of the country. The coordination was done by the second coordinator of the Conference, Theodoros Giannitsopoulos.
The speakers of the conference, High-ranking Executives of the Market and the Academic Community, Doctorate Officers and Engineers, Defense Attachés, Professors, Analysts and Researchers presented, developed, and discussed their topics in an exceptional manner and with excessive simplicity and clarity.
Our Coordinators coordinated the speakers in an excellent and fair manner.
Our Second General Coordinator worked hard, coordinated and organized flawlessly all the necessary actions of the Conference on the second day.
The First General Coordinator and Project Manager also worked hard, prepared the entire conference and perfectly coordinated and organized all the necessary actions of the Conference on both days.
The conference was opened by the Deputy Director General of the Directorate General of Defense Equipment and Investments: Lieutenant General (retd.) Dimitrios BALAFOUTIS, as a representative of the Ministry of National Defense.
MPs Andreas Loverdos (Head of Defense, KinAl) and MPs Christos Boukoros of ND and Giorgos Mavrotas of KinAl were present.
Also present were the former leaders: Kosmas Christides, Admiral (retd.), Honorary AGEN, Konstantinos Ginis, General (retd.), Honorary AGES.
